A Missionary's Job.

On December 2003, when the leaders of the church invited me to join the Mission team to Monterrey, I believe I had no idea what kind of business I was getting into. I thought the hardest part about becoming a missionary was making the decision to move to another country. So, when I made this decision about three weeks later I realized this was only the beginning- the beginning of a very exciting journey. "Yes", I said. "I'm willing to move". At that time, I didn't realize I was engaging in a process where God wanted to lead me all the way to a closer walking with Him.

So I believe God has matched the financial, emotional and spiritual struggles that I've faced with my need of humbleness and reliance on Him. When God called Abraham and told him to leave his country, his family and everything behind him, what Abraham actually did was to start the journey where his relationship with his Savior would change forever. This is why a misionary's first priority is to rely upon his God.
